The Industrial Hydraulic course is designed to introduce students to hydraulic as it relates to industrial machinery and controls. The topics include:

  • Pilot Operated Pressure Control Valves

  • Control of Hydraulic Energy

  • Transmission of Force and Energy
  • Operation of the Suction Side of the Pump

Objectives

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to do basic hydraulic system design and layout. Students will also be able to assemble basic hydraulic circuitry, using various means of actuation. In addition, students will be able to do basic hydraulic system maintenance on cylinders, fluids and filters.
