ESP32 & ESP8266
Embedded systems, IoT networking, and real-world engineering using the ESP32 platform — from GPIO fundamentals to Wi-Fi connected sensor systems.
Course Description
This course introduces students to embedded systems engineering using the ESP32 microcontroller platform. Students develop practical skills in microcontroller architecture, digital and analog interfacing, sensor integration, Wi-Fi and MQTT networking, real-time programming with FreeRTOS basics, and IoT system design. The course follows an instructional flow from foundations through inputs/outputs, sensors, networking, IoT systems, and a capstone project. Designed for high school STEM, robotics, and engineering pathways.
